Today's a bit of a different post than from what I usually blog about. As much as I love London, one can't deny that the weather could be better. Considering these last couple of weeks that were abnormally cold and snowy for this time of the year, my thoughts have been wandering off to warmer and/or other interesting places that I haven't seen yet, which inspired me to share with you 10 places I hope to visit sometime soon.

1. Santorini

I've seen so many beautiful pictures of this little, Greek island in the Mediterranean which made me really want to visit it. The white and blue architecture on the mountain-filled island looks just as breathtaking as the clear, blue ocean, making it the perfect summer destination in my opinion.

2. The Maldives

Do I really need to elaborate on this one? The Maldives are known as heaven on earth with their infinite, white sand beaches, the clearest ocean ever and their cute bungalows in the middle of nowhere. Personally, I find that this whole given description by itself makes the Maldives a destination to consider ( when you actually have a little bit more money to spend ).

3. New York

The city that never sleeps. The big apple. Even though the used name for it changes each time, one thing is clear: it's a must-see for every single living soul on this planet. The architecture, the museums and the fashion there are incomparable to the rest of the world, making me want to see it in real life even more than through a screen.

4. Norway

Another long-time dream? Doing a road trip through Norway. Nature and architecture are breathtaking from what I can tell from the numerous Instagram accounts that I follow, so I'm really excited to hopefully see it all through my own eyes at some point in my life.

5. Milan

Having a mum that works as a buyer in Italy and never having seen Milan, one of the world's main fashion capitals - how does that make sense? It doesn't, so I really need to change that as quick as possible.

6. South America

This one is a really generalised one, simply because South America is so full of interesting, culturally rich countries that I can impossibly pick only one. Who knows, maybe I'll get to explore the whole continent at some point - me and my backpack, wouldn't that be great?

7. China

I guess we can all agree on the fact that China is one of a kind on this planet and that everybody who hasn't seen it with their own eyes, has definitely missed out on something. To see one of the first developed cultures of mankind and everything they have created would definitely be a dream of mine.

8. Thailand

Quite a few of my friends were lucky enough to visit Thailand already and what they had to say made me only want to go even more: stunning beaches, breathtaking landscapes and a beautiful culture to explore. How could I not want to go there?

9. Amsterdam

Shocker, I've never been properly to Amsterdam. I've been to Rotterdam before but would love to explore the Netherlands more, and of course, Amsterdam is on the very top of my list.

 10. Prague

Last but not least, I would love to visit Prague at some point. My parents have been quite a few times and their pictures and stories made me really curious about the city. I'd love to make my own stories and pictures there at some point and who knows, maybe 2018 will be the year for that?

It was really tough to stick to only 10 destinations since I consider travelling one of the main purposes of life. How does this beautiful quote go again? "Life isn't meant to be lived in one place only. It's like reading only one page of the book." And I intend to read it from start to finish.

  1. I want to visit all of these places. They all are so cool.
